- I would think that voice over date *requires* a direct dialup; the ISPs'
- modems won't know what to do with the voice info.

- Normal audio phone connections are digitized at up to 64 kbps. With voice
- over data you'll be getting up to - but most likely less than - the modem's
- maximum bit rate (in this case, 28.8). How do you think the sound quality
- will compare?
